I am so excited to teach and be joined by percussionist Hector Ferreyra Thomas who is going to throw down on the cajón! What to expect: A fun open level class that not only teaches the basics moves but importantly the history and cultural significance of Afro Peruvian dance. And ... YES you will sweat and YES, vas a mover el cucu ! Most importantly we are celebrating our African roots across Latin America and the Carribean. WE MUST ELEVATE OUR AFRICAN ANCESTORS, CONNECT AND CELEBRATE !('Y tu abuela donde esta?!)
